Bomb Squad - A Deduction Game
In Bomb Squad, players take on the role of technicians trying to disarm an explosive device. Just like the movies, there's a bunch of wires and you don't know which one to cut.
At the beginning of the game, one wire is removed from the deck and is the solution to the final puzzle. During a turn, players play Stress cards on their opponents trying their nerves. At the end of the round the player with the least amount of stress gets to see the Wire cards dealt that round and has an opportunity to guess which wire to cut. Succeed at guessing, and win the game! If you fail, you are eliminated and the remaining players keep trying. If no one guesses correctly after the third time through the deck, everyone loses as the bomb explodes.
Bomb Squad is a sort of deduction and memory game. Players are not allowed to keep notes and must remember which Wire cards they have seen throughout the game. It includes a unique turn mechanic in that the player targeted by a Stress card becomes the active player. This can result in some interesting back and forth play while the remaining players wait for their turns to strike!
