Hello again!
Another successful test of Hexploration this week and some GenCon news!


Hexploration part 3-
This weeks test of Hexploration wasn't bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. I changed a few things that I need to change back, and discovered a few other little things I'd like to change, but overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the basic system. One of my playtesters is really enthusiastic about the game also, so that helps.

Gencon-
I will be doing a proper GenCon update post this weekend, but I thought I'd share with my readers first.


This year is going to be a bit nuts for me. I really took on a lot of projects this year and one of them was social media. I am still not using Facebook... for personal reasons... but I do use Twitter daily. My adventures there have led to a great number of online friendships that I hope to solidify, in person, at GenCon. I have a ton of awesome people to meet with and I can't wait!

On top of that, I'm doing 6 Scallywags events! These events are all Learn to Play events meaning that you do not need any prior knowledge of the game to play. I'm also giving away one copy of the game at each event as well as some really cool buttons. There are still 2 slots that have available seats: Thursday @ 2pm and Friday @ 3pm. Let anyone you can think of know! It would really make the show special for me if all of my events sold out!

My main focus for testing at this show will be Hexploration. I really want to get a bunch of fresh eyes (and minds!) on the game. In addition, I will have Princess Dice, Dead End, and Paper Route with me. I'm open to showing those ANY time. There is also a small chance that I will have Bomb Squad with me! I'm bringing that design out of the closet and I'm looking to show it off!

I'd love to meet up with everyone! If you have a game or game ideas you'd like to show me, I'm ABSOLUTELY up for that!
