Today is universally a special day. It has nothing to do with belief, ideology, politics, or customs. Today is the Winter Solstice for everyone in the Northern hemisphere. Today is the shortest day of the year. The end of the growing darkness we’ve been through for the past six months. Tomorrow, and each day after, the sun will remain in the sky for just a little bit longer than the day before. One final day of darkness leading to incremental growth.
Wherever you are in the world, whatever you celebrate this holiday season, I hope the days ahead bring you comfort and joy. I hope you find peace and harmony with yourself and your loved ones. I hope, like the coming days, you too find a way to grow —just a little— each and every day.
Happy Winter Solstice my friends. My your days grow ever brighter.
